One of the cool fun facts relating to business that I found interesting is that South Africans love success stories and they admire Americans because they believe in the “American Dream”. There is a business briefings sections which includes topics such as business protocol, customs, negotiating, etiquette, gift-giving, establishing business relations, South African cross-cultural communication, proper manners, and business entertainment. Another section labeled business database contains more business related information like business customs, business meetings, building relationships, and business communication. The third section labeled pre-departure country reports much of the same information but includes a few extra resources such as negotiating tips and things to avoid. This section gives a summary of both business and social relationships and how they differ. This website does require buy some reports, but has received great reviews as far as information goes and would be worth the money in the long run by conducting business the proper way in South Africa.
